Residents and groups based in South Aberdeenshire (the area formerly known as Kincardine & Deeside District) may apply for advance funding for a range of arts activities and events, for equipment purchases, tuition expenses, and other purposes.

The K & D Arts Forum receives annual grants from Aberdeenshire Council in order to carry out its work of promoting the Arts in South Aberdeenshire. £12,000 is available each year to give to individuals or groups to help their development. Last financial year almost £11,000 was donated. So far this year £6000 has been donated by way of 10 personal development grants and 5 programme support grants.

The size of the grant varied from as little as £150 to as much as £650.

If you or your organisation need help with funding the application forms are available below and from Marie Shaw, Arts Development Officer on 01569 768353
